Autochive may display information obtained from users, third-party services, public databases, MOT records and automated systems.
Autochive does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability or availability of any information displayed.
Users are responsible for independently verifying all information before relying upon it.
3. No Professional Advice
Autochive does not provide:
- Legal advice
- Financial advice
- Mechanical advice
- Insurance advice
- Valuation advice
- Professional advice of any kind
Information provided through the platform is for informational purposes only.
Users should obtain appropriate professional advice before making decisions relating to vehicle purchases, sales, repairs, maintenance or ownership.
4. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Use the platform lawfully
- Provide accurate information where possible
- Protect account credentials
- Comply with applicable laws
Users must not:
- Attempt unauthorised access
- Interfere with the operation of the platform
- Upload malicious software
- Upload viruses or harmful code
- Circumvent security measures
- Abuse APIs
- Conduct scraping activities
- Harvest data without permission
- Damage, disrupt or impair the platform
5. User Generated Content
Users remain solely responsible for all information, documents, photographs, records and content uploaded to Autochive.
Autochive does not verify user-submitted information and accepts no responsibility for inaccuracies, omissions or misrepresentations.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- Autochive shall not be liable for any losses arising from reliance upon information displayed on the platform.
- Autochive shall not be liable for indirect losses.
- Autochive shall not be liable for consequential losses.
- Autochive shall not be liable for economic losses.
- Autochive shall not be liable for loss of revenue.
- Autochive shall not be liable for loss of profits.
- Autochive shall not be liable for loss of business opportunities.
- Autochive shall not be liable for loss of goodwill.
Nothing within these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
7. Service Availability
Autochive is provided on an "as available" basis.
Autochive does not guarantee uninterrupted access and may modify, suspend or discontinue services at any time without notice.
8. Indemnity
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Autochive, its owners, employees, contractors and affiliates from and against any losses, liabilities, damages, claims, costs and expenses arising from:
- Breach of these Terms
- Misuse of the platform
- Illegal activity
- Uploaded content
- Unauthorised access attempts
9. Damage to the Platform
If a user intentionally, recklessly or unlawfully damages, disrupts, impairs or compromises the operation, security or availability of Autochive, the user shall be liable for all reasonably incurred losses suffered by Autochive.
Recoverable losses include:
- Legal fees
- Investigation costs
- Technical remediation costs
- Recovery costs
- Professional fees
- Lost revenue directly attributable to the incident
Interest may be charged on unpaid sums at a rate equal to:
- 3% per annum above the prevailing Bank of England Base Rate
from the date the loss is incurred until payment is made in full.
10. Account Suspension
Autochive reserves the right to suspend, restrict or terminate accounts where:
- These Terms are breached
- Fraud is suspected
- Security risks arise
- Platform integrity is threatened
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
