Your car’s service history. Kept properly.
Services, repairs, receipts and photos have a habit of ending up everywhere.
Autochive gives you one place to build and keep a digital history of your car.
What is a digital service history?
A digital service history is a record of the servicing, maintenance and repair work carried out on a vehicle, stored electronically instead of relying only on paper receipts or a stamped service book.
With Autochive, you can keep your own vehicle records together as your car’s history grows.
That can include:
- Services
- Repairs
- Maintenance
- Receipts
- Photos
- MOT information
- Important vehicle dates
The aim is simple: make it easier to see what’s been done to your car and keep the evidence with it.
Build your service history as you go
Every time your car is serviced or repaired, add the work to Autochive.
Record what was done, when it was done and keep the supporting receipts or photos alongside it.
Over time, that gives you a clearer history of the car without having to dig through paperwork, emails or old photos when you need something.
Keep the proof with the work
A service history is more useful when you can actually back it up.
Autochive lets you keep receipts and photos alongside your vehicle records so the evidence stays connected to the work that was carried out.
Whether it’s a routine service or a repair you want to remember years later, the record stays with your vehicle history.
What if my service history is already missing?
Autochive does not automatically retrieve missing manufacturer, dealer or garage service records.
If you are trying to recover service history that already exists elsewhere, you may need to contact the manufacturer, dealership or garages that previously worked on the vehicle.
Once you have the records you can recover, Autochive gives you somewhere to keep your vehicle history organised going forward.
More than a digital service book

Repairs

Keep supporting evidence alongside your records.
MOT reminders
Autochive can remind you 30 days, 14 days and 7 days before your recorded MOT expiry date. How MOT reminders work.
Service reminders
If no newer service has been recorded, Autochive can remind you when it has been nearly a year since the last service entry.
Vehicle history
Keep the important parts of your car’s history together instead of spread across different places.
Why keep a service history?
A good service history helps you understand how your car has been looked after.
It can make it easier to:
- See when work was last carried out
- Avoid losing receipts and maintenance records
- Remember repairs from months or years ago
- Keep evidence of the money and care put into the car
- Present a clearer history when the time comes to sell
For the cars you actually care about
It doesn’t matter whether it’s your first car, daily driver, family car, project or weekend toy.
If you’re spending time and money looking after it, keeping a record of that work shouldn’t be difficult.
Autochive helps you keep the story of the car together.
Digital service history FAQs
Can I create a digital service history for my car?
Yes. You can use Autochive to record servicing, repairs and maintenance and keep supporting receipts and photos alongside those records.
Does Autochive retrieve my existing service history?
No. Autochive does not automatically retrieve historical manufacturer, dealership or independent garage records. You add the records you already have and continue building the history going forward.
Can I upload old service records?
Yes. You can add earlier services, repairs and maintenance entries with their original dates and attach supporting receipts or photos, so past work you have records for becomes part of your car’s history.
Can I store service receipts?
Yes. Autochive allows supporting receipts and photos to be kept alongside vehicle service and repair records.
Does Autochive replace a manufacturer digital service record?
No. Autochive is an independent vehicle history platform. It does not replace or alter manufacturer-maintained service records.
Can Autochive remind me about servicing?
Yes. If no newer service entry has been recorded, Autochive can send a reminder when it has been nearly a year since the last recorded service. See our pricing for the full feature breakdown.
